Good Works Inspirations #gno & #morebirthdays Twitter Party #virtu

4virtu is all about connecting families & organizations with their local communities ... we aim to change the world by building virtuous communities.  The values of virtue and stewardship combined with our family centric approach and desire to promote good works are embedded in our mission statement and corporate philosophy.

As 4virtu has increased our twitter presence in the past few weeks, I have come across some truly inspirational people.  To launch our Good Works Inspirations, we will be giving kudos to those who are leading Virtuous paths.  Recognizing inspirational people and the Good Works that they are accomplishing is so important in our busy worlds.  The values of volunteering and charity are vital for us to pass along to our children and by participating in Good Works, we strengthen our families and our communities.    

I would like to share some fantastic tweeps that are making a difference with their Good Works!

I attended a twitter party sponsored by Mom It Forward & #gno (girls night out) who hosted the party with the American Cancer Society (#acs) blogger's council to raise awareness for cancer and to help Renee Ross raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in support of her friend’s daughter who suffers from the disease. 


Renee is running a half marathon in October to raise money - from Renee's page on Team in Training:

I''m training to participate in the Nike Women's Half Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. We are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of Ja'Naya. She is currently battling against leukemia.
